WI Teen Suspected of Murdering Parents, Facing Charges

A teen is in jail for allegedly murdering his mother and step-father in Waukesha County.  A Waukesha County Sheriff spokesperson says Nikita Casap was living with his dead parents for two weeks in February.  He appeared in court Thursday and faces charges of two counts of homicide and bail is set at one-million dollars.

Wake Up and Get the Coffee Recall Details

Thousands of pounds of ground coffee in 15 states have been recalled by the Food and Drug Administration.    The recall is for hundreds of 12 ounce bags of Our Family Traverse City Cherry Decaf Light Roast Ground Coffee which were mislabeled as decaffeinated.   The FDA says the product was sold in Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.   The voluntary recall was issued on March 13th by Massimo Zanetti

Crews Respond to Silo Fire at Marshfield Business

Crews were on scene of a Silo Fire at Forte Opening Solutions, 1401 East 4th St. in Marshfield.  On Thursday, March 28th the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department was dispatched to Forte Opening Solutions, 1401 East 4th Street for smoke and smoldering material. Engine 3, Engine 1, Truck 1 and Ambulance 98 responded  with nine personnel. WI AG Files Lawsuit Against Musk

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul says he’s planning on taking legal action against Elon Musk in response to a cash prize he’s announced related to the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. In a statement on X, Kaul said they were aware of an offer Musk posted to award a million dollars to two people at an event in Wisconsin this weekend. Gavel Drops: Man Sentenced in Cold Case Murder

The gavel drops and after decades of waiting, justice is served. Jon Miller was in a local court Thursday afternoon. He will be doing life in prison for the stabbing death of Mary Schlais that happened in 1974. Miller changed his plea to “no contest” and didn’t offer comments to the family or otherwise in court.
