It is the latest sign of a return to normal. Altoona is reopening its library for in-person browsing this week. There will be limits, just 28 people are allowed in the library at one time, and public computer use is capped at just 50 minutes. The library’s Alyson Jones says it will be good to see people in the library once again. The library has essentially been closed for the past year.

Governor Evers ordered all of the other slabs on the building to be removed before they fell off as well. Read MoreA fire caused about $65,000 in damage. On Saturday April 10th, the Eau Claire Fire Department responded to 839 Revere St. for a residential structure fire. When fire crews arrived on scene, they found a fully involved mobile home on fire and the occupants had already evacuated the structure. The fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
