One of Wisconsin’s most successful vaccination programs may be in the state’s prisons. The state’s Department of Corrections yesterday reported that nearly half of the state’s 19-thousand-plus inmates have gotten at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. About 95-hundred inmates are either fully or partially vaccinated. DOC says there have been over 10-thousand coronavirus positives in the state’s prisons, but only 11 of those cases are considered ‘active.’

City leaders want to reduce the number of traffic deaths and say dropping the speed limit to 20 miles an hour would go a long way in doing that.
