The mother duck was hit by a car not far from the drain. The firefighters took the little brood back to the station, fed them and gave them water until they could be taken to a sanctuary. The governor’s office says today those who are vaccinated can skip face coverings at the Capitol and most other state buildings beginning June 1st. Unvaccinated people should continue to wear masks in state buildings.
