Milwaukee’s most recent weekend shooting tally stands at 14 people wounded in 11 separate shootings. CBS 58 counted-up the shootings from early Saturday morning til late last night. The tally includes two double shootings, and what police are saying was a self-inflicted shooting on Water Street. No one died in any of the shootings. Milwaukee Police say they made just one arrest in the 11 shootings over the weekend.

Governor Tony Evers on Friday vetoed a plan that would expand the number of kids who qualify for the state’s school voucher program. The expansion added kids from families who make up to three-times the federal poverty level, which comes to just under 80-thousand-dollars for a family of four. Governor Evers says he doesn’t want to take money away from traditional public schools.
