No one is guessing when everyone across southeast Wisconsin will get their lights back. WE Energies said as of about 2:45 this morning, 105-thousand people were in the dark after yesterday’s storms. A powerful line of thunderstorms cut across Milwaukee and the WOW Counties yesterday evening, uprooting trees and knocking down power lines. There are no reports of any serious injuries. Forecasters are not confirming any tornadoes as of yet either.

The city’s fire chief backed-off the fire yesterday after the flames drained the city’s water supply. Chief Daryl Rausch says his crews had to let the fire burn itself out. No one was injured in the massive fire, but the building is a total loss. The chief says once what’s left of the building is cool enough, investigators will look for a cause.
