The 100-dollar incentive to get the COVID-19 vaccine is being extended until September 19th.  The rewards program began August 15th and over 65-thousand Wisconsinites got their first dose in the first ten days of the program.  That success motivated the governor to give residents over 12 years old a little more time get their shot and collect their hundred bucks.

The average price for regular gas in Wisconsin is up three-cents-a-gallon compared to a week ago.  Heading into the holiday weekend, Triple-A says the price at the pump in the Badger State is three-oh-one a gallon today.  The national average is 3.18.  Drivers are paying 2.91-a-gallon in Appleton, two-83 in Fond du Lac, two-95 in Green Bay, about 3.02 in Eau Claire, and La Crosse and 3.01 Milwaukee and Madison.

U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin visits Pablo Center at the Confluence on Friday, September 3rd to meet local recipients of the Shuttered Venue Operator Grant (SVOG). Just one person is in custody in connection to the five shootings in Milwaukee yesterday. Police say five people were wounded in separate shootings. They started at 1:30 a.m., and ran through last night. All of the victims are expected to survive. Police say they are looking for motives and other suspects in each case.
