The sheriff in Manitowoc County says a deputy is recovering after a drunk man in a Corvette smashed into his squad car early yesterday morning. It happened along I-43 near Highway 310 about 2:30 yesterday morning. The sheriff says the deputy was parked in the median, but the Corvette left the interstate and smashed into the back of his SUV.
