The Wisconsin Assembly is looking into what can be done about the supply chain problems in the state, and across the country. Assembly Speaker Robin Vos yesterday announced the creation of a new Special Assembly Committee on Trade and Supply Chain. Vos says he wants to support businesses and families in the state by getting answers about low supply and high prices. The committee will also look at how Wisconsin’s worker shortage is affecting the supply chain in the state.

That’s a decline of over 100 people from this point last week. The Hospital Association is reporting 459 people in ICUs. That too is a drop from last week.

The Wisconsin Legislature has been unable to come to an agreement with Governor Tony Evers on the new maps, so the responsibility has been handed over to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is considering map proposals from several people and groups, including Evers and Republicans and Democrats in the Legislature. Once the Supreme Court decides it will be the first times it’s drawn Wisconsin’s political maps since the 1960’s.
