On Thursday, February 27 from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM the Bloomer Middle School will be hosting Cardboard Box Boat Races at the Chippewa Falls YMCA in the pool. The students worked hard to create boats and they will be putting them to the test tomorrow afternoon testing their skills and cheering on their boats!

When officials arrived on the scene, they found a male that was ejected out of the car. According to a press release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, the crashed happened late night Monday. High speeds and alcohol may have played a factor in the crash. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says local artists can apply for the wild turkey, pheasant, and waterfowl stamp designs. Winning artworks will appear on stamps next year.
