It took about two hours to get an injured hunter out of the woods in Buffalo County. The sheriff’s office says a 32-year-old hunter from Louisiana hurt his leg while climbing a tree in the Tiffany Wildlife Area. Rescue crews managed to get the hunter out of the woods and to an ambulance. He was then taken to Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire with non-life-threatening injuries.
