Firefighters say an 11-year-old boy fell into the KK River on the city’s south side yesterday evening. They say two men jumped-in to save him, but all three were washed down river. The Republican-controlled legislature yesterday signaled that it will allow the state’s Department of Natural Resources to set standards for PFAS chemical pollution in the state.
