Eau Claire is going to ask voters for more money this fall, but how much more remains to be seen. The city council last night approved a November tax hike referendum. There is no price tag yet, and there isn’t a specific list of just what the money will pay for. Eau Claire’s tax hike request comes as the city’s school district is looking at a tax increase question of its own. Polls suggest there’s not enough support for both.

Neighbors found Chomper walking down the sidewalk. No one was hurt. Chomper was scooped-up and returned home.
