America’s favorite baseball snack is getting a partner. Frito-Lay is unveiling Cracker Jill, the newest mascot in 125 years. It’s part of the Cracker Jack brand and meant to honor and support women’s impact within sports. Fans can look for special-edition bags at ballparks across the country when the MLB season starts tomorrow with Opening Day. Sheriff John Spears yesterday said thieves have taken signs in Viroqua, Westby, Coon Valley, Chaseburg, Stoddard, Genoa, Readstown and Viola. The sheriff’s department says the signs are there for a reason, and a missing stop sign or yield sign could end-up causing a crash.
