Taylor Schabusiness is asking a judge for a third competency hearing. The other two found that she is mentally stable enough to stand trial for murder. Police say she strangled a man while they were having sex. Afterwards, investigators say, she chopped-up his body and hid his body parts in several different places in his home.

Eau Claire’s Plan Commission last night okayed the designs for a new store and apartment building to go in its place. The Landmarks Commission voted back in September to tear the Ottawa House down because of its age and deterioration. The state’s Department of Natural Resources yesterday said a judge ordered the Louisiana Crawfish Company to pay over 34 thousand-dollars in fines for shipping and selling red swamp crayfish. That marks the largest Powerball prize in over six years. Monday still saw plenty of winners of smaller prizers.
