The city council last night declined to vote on the request from a company working with Niagara to open-up a new facility on Eau Claire’s northwest side. Read MoreWisconsin is in-line to get just over 325 thousand-dollars as part of a settlement over Ford truck commercials. Attorney General Josh Kaul announced the settlement yesterday. Kaul joined the lawsuit led by Oregon, Texas, Illinois, Maryland, Vermont and Arizona over Ford’s claims about fuel mileage and towing capacity. The A-G’s say Ford was promising numbers that its trucks could not deliver. In all, Ford will pay the states about 19 million-dollars.
