Read MoreWe now know who died in last week’s small plane crash in Wauwatosa. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office yesterday said 18-year-old Daniel Perelman died Saturday. He was seriously injured in that crash last Thursday. Investigators say Perelman reported engine trouble after a touch-and-go landing at Timmerman Airport. The FAA and NTSB have not yet said just what caused that engine trouble.

That means more turtles will be out on the roads, especially near wetlands. DNR says Wood turtles and Blanding’s turtles are especially vulnerable right now. The state wants you to report any turtle crossings you see, so they can better track turtles in the state.
