More details have been provided about the child abuse investigation at a Waukesha school. Investigators say a teacher at The Lawrence School, Heather Miller, slammed a special needs baby into his crib mattress then held him there for about 30 seconds until the boy started to wheeze. Another teacher saw the abuse and reported it. Waukesha Police arrested Miller and three other teachers who did not report the abuse on Wednesday. She is awaiting formal charges.

Amtrak yesterday said there will continue to be disruptions on the train service from Chicago to Minneapolis. That means stops in Madison and The Dells are on-hold. Amtrak canceled all of its long distance routes this week ahead of that possible railroad strike. The trains from Milwaukee to Chicago were running as scheduled yesterday.
