Folks could be zooming on the snowmobile trails in Chippewa County in a matter of days. Volunteers with the Bloomer Snowhawks Club say they’ve spent weeks clearing the trails in the county, and hope to open this weekend. Police say four-year-old Kaliyah King Mage died at a local hospital last Friday. She was unconscious and not breathing. Three adults are facing a number of charges including neglect.
