Double Overtime Loss Hits Bucky Hard

Wisconsin loses in double overtime to Michigan State, 34-28.  The Spartans scored a touchdown in the first overtime and the Badgers answered with a 25-yard-touchdown pass of their own.  Michigan State won in the second overtime with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Payton Thorne to wide receiver Jayden Reed.  The Badgers are now 1-3 conference.  Next Saturday Badgers take on Purdue at Camp Randall Stadium.

MKE Tornado Touchdown First In Over 20 Years

 A tornado that touched down in West Allis and swept into Milwaukee on Wednesday was the first confirmed  twister in Milwaukee County in almost 23 years.  The National Weather Service said the tornado packing 75 mile-an-hour winds touched down a little past noon Wednesday near South 105th and West Becher streets in West Allis.  It stayed on the ground for about three miles before dissipating near South 57th and 58th streets and West Stack Drive, north of Oklahoma Avenue in

Police Search For Repeat Robber

Police across southern Wisconsin are looking for a man accused of trying to rob multiple Culver’s restaurants through the drive through.  Police say the first robbery happened at a Culver’s in Lake Mills back on September 26th.  Police say the suspect has robbed multiple other Culver’s in that area.  They say he drives a maroon-colored four-door Jeep and is armed and dangerous.

All Aboard! Holiday Stop Back on the Tracks

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is returning to Wisconsin after a two-year hiatus.  It’ll make six Wisconsin stops, Watertown, Columbus, Portage, Wisconsin Dells, Mauston, and Tomah.  The dates are December 9th and 10th.  The holiday train raises money for local food banks but has been unable to operate the last two years because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Fire Causes $75K In Damages

If you heard sirens, they may have been responding to a fire On Eau Claire’s North Side. Eau Claire Fire Department responded to a structure fire today at 831 North Hastings Way. Flags Lowered to Honor WI Firefighters

Tony Evers ordered the flags of the United States and the state of Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff on Sat., Oct. 15, 2022, in honor of Wisconsin Firefighters Memorial Day, as required by state statute, during Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 9 through Oct. 15, 2022.    “…we honor and remember the fallen heroes who are no longer with us and share our deepest condolences with their families, friends, colleagues, and loved ones.
