The Dunn County Board recently passed a resolution to put a referendum on the November ballot asking voters if congress and the President should enact a publicly funded National Health Insurance program. In June, Dr. Lorene Vedder of Menomonie WI presented a potential advisory ballot question proposal regarding a National Health Insurance program to Dunn County’s Executive Committee. The sheriff’s office says the driver was on Interstate-41 in the Town of Vinton last week when he fainted, went into a ditch, crashed through a fence, and hit a home on Green Valley Road. Read MoreWe’re getting some more information about the shooting of that little girl in Poynette. Police yesterday said a boy under 10 shot the seven-year-old girl in the leg with a pistol. Investigators say the boy found the gun laying around the house. An adult, Andrew Long, who was home at the time of the shooting was arrested for not properly storing that gun. The little girl is expected to survive. Long is waiting for formal charges.
