(WI)NNING STREAK SNAPPED

All good things must end…and the end-zone streak came to an end for one school in our state.

Kimberly High School in Wisconsin was on a long winning streak…how long? Try 70 games! But, time to start the game clock all over again. They lost 31-28 Friday night to Fond du Lac, snapping their 70-game streak.  It was the school’s first loss since a 2012 state quarterfinal.

The longest all-time streak belongs to De La Salle High School in Concord, California, which won 151 games in a row from 1991 to 2004.
