Wisconsin is joining 21 other states in asking Congress for money to clean-up PFAS pollution.
Attorney General Josh Kaul yesterday signed-on to a push from other Democratic attorneys general to ask the federal government to provide states with the money to test for the chemicals, then clean-up their water supplies.
PFAS chemicals are found in everything from non-stick spray to firefighting foam. Governor Tony Evers this month asked over 100 local water systems in Wisconsin to start testing for PFAS chemicals.
