An eight-year-old boy is dead after a farming accident in the town of Dane, just northwest of Madison.
Dane County sheriff’s deputies say they believed the boy had been trampled by a cow last Friday morning but they later found out his father had accidentally run him over with a skid steer loader. The county medical examiner has ruled the death an accident.
