The accused killer of a Racine police officer is identified as Dalquavis Ward.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office says today Ward was taken into custody yesterday for the shooting death of Officer John Hetland in Racine earlier this month. Hetland was killed trying to stop a robbery at Tweezers Bar and Grill while off-duty ten days ago. Authorities say information developed by the crime lab led them to the suspect.
