As we wave bye-bye to winter we are now facing a red alert for fire. That means DO NOT BURN! If you smoke, no tossing butts out the window.
It’s kind of a big deal now:
Governor Scott Walker is declaring a State of Emergency in response to wildfire conditions. The governor said it’s a precautionary measure which will allow the DNR to have the tools to combat the spread of any wildfires.
The National Weather Service issued flag warnings this week and out of concern the conditions could continue the governor signed the executive order.
