The City of Beloit says a proposed casino is a step closer to reality.
Officials said today a significant step was taken in the process when the Bureau of Indian Affairs said a final environmental impact statement is now available. The next step towards approval of the Ho-Chunk Casino will be a public comment period, before Governor Evers weighs in.
