The folks who want to build new roads say the rural roads in Wisconsin are among the worst in the nation.
The TRIP group, which is a national transportation research nonprofit, yesterday released a report that says 19-percent of roads in the state are in poor condition. Another 21-percent are in mediocre condition. The TRIP group is one of many who say Wisconsin needs to find more money to improve its roads and bridges.
