However, she noted that because of the Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision, the law may be unenforceable.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is promising to veto a plan that would require doctors in the state to help babies who survive an abortion attempt. The state Assembly passed the plan yesterday, which the Wisconsin Senate is expected to pass it next month. Democrats say the proposed law is based on bad facts. Republicans say the idea is common sense and compassionate.
