An eleven-year-old child is back with his family after K9 Leo and officers found the boy near Eleva.
Word is the child got lost yesterday evening after arguing with family members and leaving the house in an unfamiliar area. Nearly two hours later, K9 Leo was deployed and tracked him down within 15 minutes. The child was okay and returned to his family. Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson recognized K9 officer Leo, his handler Sergeant Travis McDonah and Deputy Joel Dregney for their work getting the child home safely.
