One person is injured after a domestic incident in La Crosse.
Officers responded to a home Wednesday night after Zachary Thompson called to admit that he attacked his partner with a baseball bat. Police say the victim was able to leave home and went to the hospital for their injuries.
Thompson said he was trying to kill his girlfriend and was arrested. He is now facing multiple charges, including first degree intentional homicide. The incident remains under investigation.
