A part of Elm Road in Oak Creek is getting a name change for a major travel center.
Common Council members voted this week to approve changing part of the road to be Buc-ee’s Boulevard for the Buc-ee’s gas station opening there. The deal includes Buc-ee’s forking over 350-thousand dollars for a project of Oak Creek’s choice, and paying for their own signs once the change is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The deal is only good if Buc-ee’s completes construction by next August.
