Wisconsin has the most confirmed cases of Chronic Wasting Disease in the Midwest.
The CDC last month said that 270 counties in 24 states are battling the disease. CWD is most prevalent in Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. But researchers say Wisconsin is the hot spot in the Midwest. The CDC says it fears the disease could jump from deer to people at some point.
