New UW College of Computing and A.I Announces New Leader

  The University of Wisconsin – Madison has a new leader for its new school. 

The university announced Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau will be the founding dean of its new College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence.  The new facility has received significant support through 100-million dollars of philanthropic efforts, plus other investments in new faculty positions and support for research.  The college, which will build on the school’s strength in computer sciences and other related topics, is scheduled to launch July 1st.
