On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at approximately 5:59 PM, the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle crash with injuries at State Highway 93 and Severson Rd. in the Town of Pleasant Valley. The initial reports indicated that two vehicles had collided head on and three people were injured.
Upon arrival to the scene, three patients were located and were treated. One subject was checked out on scene and refused transport with no injuries reported. A second subject was transported to the Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The third patient involved was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the initial investigation, an operator of one of the involved vehicles showed signs of impairment and was arrested for Homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. The arrested subject was booked into the Eau Claire County Jail where he will remain until an initial appearance.
The names of the involved parties will be released at a later time.
