Compeer Financial is awarding grant funding to support 27 farmers markets across Wisconsin including a number of markets in the Western part of the state.
Among those grants are awards of more than 25-thousands dollars each to the Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market, the La Crosse Farmers Market Association and the Jackson County Farmers Market. Compeer says those markets represent opportunities to build community between consumers and area farmers.
