On Monday April 13th, 2026, at 12:30PM, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office was requested to respond to a fully engulfed structure fire. Bloomer Fire and Ambulance were first on scene and were assisted by New Auburn, Tilden, Eagle Point, and Cornell Fire.
The structure was a primary residence and is suspected to be a total loss. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.
