Coach Englund Announces Retirement

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s basketball coach is retiring.

Tonja Englund coached the Blugolds for 26 seasons, starting in 2000. Englund says it’s “been an honor to work with so many talented student-athletes and dedicated assistant coaches.” She has accumulated a 427-265 overall record since the 2000-2001 season. She also guided them to four WIAC regular season championships and two WIAC tournament championships. CLICK HERE FOR MORE.
