The Chippewa County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) has opened a new water testing laboratory, expanding access to convenient, local drinking water testing for residents. In recognition of Groundwater Awareness Week (March 8–14), CCDPH is partnering with Chippewa County Land Conservation to offer discounted bundled nitrate and bacteria testing for private well owners.
- First 100 test kits: $35 total ($15 nitrate + $20 bacteria)
- After 100 kits: $45 total ($5 off each test)
Residents are encouraged to test for both nitrate and bacteria at the same time. Test kits include
bottles for both samples. Samples will be accepted all week
