It’s the Big Game!

It’s the Big Game!

Millions of Americans are getting ready for Super Bowl 60.

Over 213-million people across the U.S. are expected to watch today’s game, which will feature the New England Patriots battling the Seattle Seahawks for the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The National Retail Federation says football fans are expected to spend over 20-billion dollars on today’s festivities, with most of the money being spent on food and drinks.

And if you don’t much care about the teams but tend to keep an eye on the ads (Budweiser horses, we’re looking at you…) you can expect to see a lot of celebrities popping up in the advertisements during this year’s Super Bowl.

Oscar winner Emma Stone will appear in a black-and-white commercial for hosting platform Squarespace. Sabrina Carpenter will be selling Pringles potato chips. Serena Williams will be pitching weight-loss medication. Andy Samberg will be doing a Neil Diamond impersonation for Hellman’s mayonnaise. And Peyton Manning, Shane Gillis and Post Malone are teaming up for a Bud Light commercial.

Oh yeah, just a reminder that between the ads, there will be a football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
