The verdict is in for a La Crosse charged in the shooting of his ex-girlfriend.
Prosecutors say that — in May of 2025 — Diontae Booth shot the woman at her aunt’s residence on Fifth Avenue South. Booth was convicted Thursday on charges including Second Degree Reckless Injury with a Dangerous Weapon. He will be sentenced at a later date.
