In Chippewa County, a Cadott Community School District employee is facing legal troubles stemming from her time working for the Lincoln School District.
Danielle Mittermeyer has been indicted on charges related to her handling of Lincoln’s financial affairs between March of 2021 and August of 2025. Mittermeyer — who was hired to work in the Cadott district in August of 2025 — has now been placed on administrative leave. In a statement, the Cadott district says they have no concerns about Mittermeyer’s work in her current role.
