In bordering Minnesota, Senator Amy Klobuchar on Thursday announced that she is running to be that state’s next governor.
Current Governor Tim Walz previously that he would discontinue his campaign for re-election. Klobuchar — a Democrat — is currently serving her fourth term in the Senate and ran for president in 2020.
