The new contract for steelworkers at Harley Davidson includes both a pay raise and a job guarantee. The workers’ union, United Steelworkers Local 2-209, yesterday said the new deal will boost pay by 14-percent and includes job protections.
Harley Davidson is also offering an early retirement incentive for some workers. Just over 900 workers at Harley’s plants in the MIlwaukee area and in Tomahawk are covered by the new contract.
