The Madison community is remembering the deadly Abundant Life Christian School shooting one year later.
Yesterday was the anniversary of the shooting in 2024, leaving one student and teacher dead while injuring six others. Police say 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow entered the school and opened fire during a study hall period with kids from several grades. Former principal Dough Butler released a message saying “we remember those we lost” and continue praying for those “still healing.” The school was in session yesterday and held a day of honor and service.
