Plan Approved for Busy Intersection

The Eau Claire City Council has approved a plan that would make improvements to a busy local intersection. 

The council this week approved the design for a project at County Line Road and Jeffers Road.  The plan includes a roundabout at the intersection as well as urbanizing 28-hundred feet west of Jeffers Road.  The county line road would be widened and a shoulder and a sidewalk would be added.  The total cost for the project is three-million dollars with 80 percent covered by a state grant.  Work should start early next year.         CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE COVERAGE WITH WEAU 13 NEWS.
