The 126th annual National Audubon Society Christmas Bird Count is next Sunday in Ephraim Circle.
It’s the world’s longest running citizen science survey. Volunteers go out on a designated day on a predetermined 15-mile circular area or set-up bird feeders and count birds. The National Audubon Society collects the data and tracks the amount of birds crossing the Western Hemisphere during winter.
