Governor Tony Evers is celebrating Shop Small Wisconsin Season during his weekly radio address.
He’s encouraging Wisconsinites to shop at the state’s many small businesses during the holidays. Governor Evers proclaimed November 29th through December 31st as Shop Small Wisconsin Season for the fifth consecutive year. The U.S. Census Bureau says the holiday season accounts for more than a third of annual revenue for many retailers. Data shows 86 percent of shoppers made retail purchases during the holidays in Wisconsin last year.
