A Milwaukee restaurant is closing its doors after 52 years.
Beans and Barley announced it’s permanently shutting down at the end of January. The building was recently listed for 2-point-two-million dollars and has been sold. Owners Jim Neumeyer and Polly Kaplan are urging local hospitality owners to hire their staff members in the coming months. Beans and Barley is one of many east-side restaurants to close as of late.
