Deadly Crash Leads to Charges for Gilman Man

A signature bond of ten-thousand dollars is being set for a Gilman man charged in connection with a fatal vehicle collision. 

Chippewa County prosecutors say that 33-year-old Cody Skorstad was driving uninsured and on a suspended license back in July when he caused a head-on collision while trying to pass a vehicle on County Road H in Delmar.  Nineteen-year-old Ayden Nicpon was killed in the crash and Skorstad is facing charges of second-degree reckless homicide.
